The best Christmas in my life

I thought it would be difficult for me to put pen to paper and tell you all my inside feelings, but it has not been a bit difficult, in fact it has been easy.
 

I have had two very serious operations and I nearly died. Well on my second operation I recall very clearly crying out to the Lord again and again and asking him to get me out of that living inferno that I was in. I cried and cried and asked God time and time again to help me. He did listen to me because here I am talking about Him. How great He is. How He has brought me to become a Christian and how he has brought me to the Methodist Church through the Alpha Course. The first day that I walked through those doors, I knew I was in the right place. God knows my thinking, my saying, and my love for Him. Although I may not express myself very well, but one thing I know ,that He is with me and I am walking along in my life with Him.
The Holy Spirit is with me and that is all that I want in life. Having God in my life has changed me day by day, in my thinking, behaving, addressing, praying, giving loving understanding and controlling (my tongue) All these things that meant nothing before, means a lot to me now.

It is beautiful to wake up in the early hours of the morning and read the Bible. Maybe I still don’t understand it very well, but the Lord will help me on my day to day readings, to understand and listen to what he says to me.

I know deep down in my heart that this is the best Christmas in my life as I have been born again (given my live to Jesus) and this year I will have the best present - the Holy Spirit.
