OUTREACH

The Methodist Church in Gibraltar has seen many changes in its life over the years from its beginnings in the home of Henry Ince, to its work among the Forces until the present day when it has become a Church for the whole community and people of Gibraltar.

Worship on Sundays is at 11.00am and 7.00pm and the congregation is often representative of the World Church with local people, visitors from other countries, expatriates and others who work in Spain and elsewhere. Warm and welcoming it is very much a family Church with worship as the central focus of our life together. The Music is led by a group of gifted musicians who offer their gifts in the context of worship which is lively, reverent, joyful and, we hope, relevant-Junior Church is led by a committed group of people and meets concurrently with morning worship. There is also a crèche for young children.

We are also privileged to be involved with the Church that meets in Sotogrande at the old International School, and every other week one of our ministers or lay preachers makes the journey across the border to lead worship there.

Apart from worship we have a number of house groups which meet weekly in people's homes and offers to all the opportunity for fellowship, prayer and Christian nurture.

Whether you live here permanently, have been posted here with the forces or come here to work or are simply visiting for a short time we offer you a warm welcome and hope that you will feel very much at home among us.

Minister: Revd. Fidel Patron
