Prayer meetings continue this week, Monday, and Wednesday at 7:00pm, from midnight on Monday until 10:00pm on Tuesday, Thursday at 7:00am and 7:00pm, and Friday at 6:00pm. As always I would encourage as many as can to take part in some of these prayer activities. ‘When we work, we work, but when we pray, God works’.

The Ladies’ prayer and fellowship continues to meet in the Carpenter’s Arms, at 5:30 pm on Friday.

The Alpha course is now almost finished. Please continue to pray for all those attending, and start thinking about who you can invite to the next one which will start on the 12th February. Also please pray for an Alpha course which we are going to be involved in, in Sabinillas, starting on the 26th January.

There are various House Groups which meet during the week, please ask for details.

The next meeting of the Church Leadership Team will be held tomorrow, 17th November, at 8:30pm, in the Manse.

Next Saturday 22nd November we will be goiing a Ramble. We will meet on the Spanish side of the border at 10:00am and drive to ‘La Sauceda’, and walk around the area. We will stop on the way for a hearty breakfast, but please bring your own picnic lunch.

The Carpenter’s Arms is open daily and volunteers will be welcome.

Mary needs the material for the Christmas edition of the Wesley Herald magazine as soon as possible, please let her have any articles, poems, etc. you would like to appear in this. We are privileged to have many gifted people in our midst, please don’t be shy, share your gifts and writings with us.

We have had to change the date of the concert and testimony by Yazz to the 18th April. This is due to her needing to be in the UK, on the original proposed date, to receive a Christian music award.

St Andrew’s church in Fuengirola has produced a DVD which will include footage from both BBC ‘Songs of Praise’ programmes, as well as some footage which did not make it into the final programmes when they were transmitted. They will cost €10 each and I would ask anyone interested in obtaining one to let me know.

The work on the building continues, with its consequent mess and inconvenience. We continue to ask for patience, tolerance and understanding and thank all those who have helped and continue to help in any way.

We would advise everyone that we welcome any comments they would like to make about our services, or any aspect of Church life, please feel free to speak to me or one of the Stewards.

I encourage anyone with information of someone who is needing a visit to call me on 20040870 or 58137000, or email me at minister@methodist.org.gi We will endeavour, where possible to communicate any needs among the congregation so we can all pray together, and arrange to organise the necessary visits.

While every effort is made to provide accurate information it is inevitable that some changes will occur. I will always endeavour to advise when this happens and we will try and keep the information on the web page as accurate as possible.
